<p>That was 2 months ago. Now I'm thinking about sending in my financial aid application. Should I write an explanation to the Financial Aid Office? Or should I just submit my application normally? Would it matter?</p>
<p>You don’t need to write an explanation, but it’s probably a good idea to call the financial aid office and let them know what your plans are – they might only expect applications from students who checked the “applying for aid” box.</p>
