Change of major after being admitted, but before SIR

Hi, I was wondering if anyone know if it was possible to change your major after being admitted to a college, basically change major before SIR. I was admitted not too long ago to UC Riverside for my alternate major (Electrical Engineering) and I wanted to know if it was possible still to convince them to admit me to my primary major (Computer Engineering).

Have anyone gone through this before and know the process or procedure and how to go about it?

Any information relating to this would be helpful. Thank you very much.

You don’t change majors until after the term starts at the UC. I do not know how Riverside works but at UCLA you can usually switch engineering majors once in. Maybe not all the time, but sometimes. Wait until you get there and deal with it then.
