Hello,
I was admitted to the Biological Sciences LEP, but I put down “Cell Biology and Genetics” as my major. Is it possible to change my major to Biochemistry? They’re both in the same LEP, as far as I am aware.
Thanks

Yes, it is possible. You should call the Biological Sciences Dept on Monday, to find out how to make the change. You may also be able to make the change at orientation when you register for classes.
Thanks for the quick response - I’ll be sure to call the Biological Sciences Dept on Monday.
How would I be able to tell if i was accepted into the Biological Sciences LEP? on my admissions decision it says my major is biological sciences in the honors college but it doesn’t say LEP anywhere. I applied for LEP of Neurobiology specifically.
At the bottom of the decision, it will specify the Advising College. If it says Letters and Sciences, you did NOT get into the LEP and will have to do an internal transfer/
You should actually call the admissions office. They handle major change requests before May 1.
I was also admitted to the Biological Sciences LEP, but on my admissions letter I don’t see the specific major. I put “Cell Biology and Genetics” on my application, so should I just assume that my major will be Cell Bio and Genetics?
