Change of Majors as a Transfer?

<p>Hey, does anyone happen to know what the procedure is for changing your major once you transfer in? I know you "CANT" change your major, but What happens when you realize your original major isn't for you and you want to continue in another program? Do you have to apply to UF all over again? I'm curious as to how they handle these cases. My advisor says she doesnt know but she doesnt <em>think</em> they treat you as a new student applying to UF.</p>

<p>Highly unlikely it would happen but the process is to contact the advisor in the new college and ask if they would considering allowing you to enter into their program.</p>

<p>Thanks, i’m not trying to “switch majors” per se. More like, apply to a new program. I just don’t know if this would be like applying to UF all over again <em>sigh</em></p>
