change of mind??

i signed up for the US hist and bio subject test for may but im having second thoughts about taking the bio.

i now want to take math instead...so on the test day do i simply just skip the bio and take just the math instead? if so, do i need to contact collegeboard/ make changes to anything/ tell the instructor...?

Uhh, no, I'm pretty sure you have to go change the test, which I believe costs $20.

You'll receive a test booklet containing all the subject tests.

Just take the two tests you want.

As you've paid for two, there shouldn't be any problem.

The only subject that doesn't offer that kind of flexibility is a listening test.

If you wanted to change test dates you'd have to pay a fee.

aaah exactly my concern, thanks BigIs

Well, the official policy of CB specified in the SAT Subject Test Booklet is, according to my memory, that you can take whatever subject you wish to, even if you didn't pay for it (they will charge you later), but you have to let the instructors know that you made changes from your reservation. The instructor will explain it briefly prior to the exam, so if you have any questions, go ahead and ask the instructors.

waiiiiiiit a second

i registered for the january 27 bio sat 2 but wasn't ready so i didn't show up to take it. my organizer at collegeboard says that scores are "not yet available," obviously because i wasn't there and didn't take it.

what actually happens? does that thing show up when i send my scores to colleges? i didn't know i could change test dates...crap now what?

also, i registered to take 3 sat 2's on the may 5 testing date--how do i go about switching test dates? i don't think i can handle 3 on the same day and want to transfer a test to the june testing date. someone said they charge $20 to change the testing date, okay but how do you go about doing it? i don't see it anywhere on the collegeboard website...

someone please help!

Well, I guess you should plan your SATs more carefully.
Since you are able to change test dates even if you are absent, you better call CB to find out what they can do for you. I'm not sure if they will allow you to "change" the test date 2 months after the test, but I would definitely call CB customer service to make sure. I'm sure that you know those are non-refundable.
Also, for the May test, I doubt that you can transfer only 1 subject to other test date. Just call the CB customer service and they will tell you what to do.

well, that jan 27 test is done and over with, i didn't take the test, but i mean like it's too late to "switch"...but that's okay it was just $18.

and i guess i'll just take all 3 sat 2's in may without transferring a test to another day, but i will be calling cb customer service soon to ask about what happened to the jan 27 sat and how it'll show up on my score report
