Changes In Admissions?

So i just got unexpectedly accepted to Tulane and I'm really interested to know if the only reason i got accepted is beacuse of everything that has happened to Tulane in the past year.
Here's what I've garnered- feel free to add if you have any additional info.:

-In the past it seems Tulane's admissions has been very statisitcs driven---the trend i've noted in the past seems to be that if you had above a 1300 SAT and a 3.5 you were in.

-The average SAT of CCers who were waitlisted at Tulane last year was a : 1260

-For all those accpeted this year post your stats and junk here so we can figure this all out and compare it to last years admits(everyone should realize however that the rep. on CC will not be truly representative--but hey it should give us an idea-maybe, but its not like the quality of CCers has actually changed oh well what the hell):
mine:
ACT: 29 (E33, M24, R34, S26) this converts to a neat 1300
GPA:3.7- top 25%
Likelyhood of Attending (out of 10):6---I would like to --it would most definitely be interesting---but the parentals---there still might be better options out there--haven't heard from eveyone

SAT: 1310/1960
GPA: 3.75ish UW, 4.4ish W- top 15%

lots of ECs.

i'd love to attend. i'm just waiting on scholarship info.

SAT: 1360/2140
GPA: 3.7 UW (top 20%, unweighted for APs/Honors/Gifted or academic classes)

Founders Award. Tulane is one of my top choices at the moment; I'm visiting in April. :)

D's stats (posted elsewhere, but I'll repeat):

SAT: 1470/2230, SAT IIs: all in 700-750 range
GPA: UW 3.6 w/freshman year; 3.9ish w/out freshman year

NMF, Nat'l Hispanic Scholar, nat'l and state level academic awards, heavy with leadership ecs plus comm svc hours

Founders Award (Darn...wish she had applied before the DHS deadline!)

Tulane is a top choice, visiting March 9-10.

We are little nervous about city infrastructure, but feel Tulane will offer unique opportunities for an enhanced academic and community service experience that exist nowhere else in the US. Still waiting on a few decisions though.
