Her major has changed from Education to General Studies - Blinn TEAM.
Everything I have read, leads me to believe my daughter made the Blinn Team.
Still waiting to change to the next step.</p>

<p>My major also changed to blinn team today! It was education but now it says “general studies blinn team”. So hopefully this means I’m in blinn team! This is actually what I was hoping for, has anyone else’s major changed to blinn team??</p>
<p>Yes! My little brother’s changed today also! We are hoping his AIS changes soon 
He was hoping for Blinn TEAM as well (b/c of the cost and small class sizes).</p>
<p>My daughter had the MyRecord tab on the Howdy Portal this morning, and her major was changed to General Studies - Blinn Team sometime today. The dropdown box under application type (I think?) also changed to Blinn Team. That’s all I know for now, but I’m checking it frequently for changes.</p>

<p>Do y’all think this is just a “consideration” for Blinn TEAM, or that they possibly got in? The only reason I think they all might have gotten in is because of the MyRecord tab on Howdy!</p>
<p>Her first choice was General Studies - but it did not have “Blinn Team” on it. I’m hopeful because of the MyRecord tab on the Howdy portal, but things can change. I did call admissions when I noticed the MyRecord tab and they said that it didn’t mean anything, to keep checking. I hadn’t noticed the Blinn Team thing, or it wasn’t there yet, so I didn’t ask about that. </p>

<p>They pretty much told us that the My Record tab didn’t mean anything too, but the next day we had the step 6. The lady we spoke to was very vague and said it could be a glitch in the system or could mean that you are in. I think they just have to be careful in saying that it means you are in, just in case. BUT, from our experience, plus what I have read from others it sounds good!!! Congrats!!</p>

We are still waiting and hoping we didn’t get excited too soon.</p>
<p>Nothing has changed for us either. My daughter keeps calling to see if I’ve put a deposit down on housing at Texas Tech, and I’m trying to hold off as long as I can without her losing a dorm room that became available in the dorm she wants with her roommate of choice.<br>
It’s hard to figure out what to do. At this point, she is getting excited about Tech, so maybe I should give up on this. </p>
<p>I’ll keep you updated if anything changes on AIS for us.</p>

<p>Yup, I got Blinn Team also. I’m still contemplating between University of Houston, UT-Austin, or Blinn…I know a lot of us really want to go to A&M, but since Blinn isn’t exactly A&M itself, what are you guys doing?</p>
<p>My daughter is taking it, we already have housing and she really wants A&M, she will work hard to transfer asap. But if you are not so set on A&M, UT Austin if you already have it, woould also be a really good choice.</p>
<p>My daughter also got Blinn TEAM. We already accepted it and registered for her NSC in August. I think it’s a great program and an excellent transition into full time A&M. Congrats to everyone else who also was accepted into the TEAM!</p>
