So, in the section where you list courses on the commonapp I only listed one because I had no idea how to fill all the information ( if my courses are considered advanced, honors and some other stuff) and couldn’t talk with my mentor in time to understand how to fill this section. Now that I have updated it, is it possible to send it to the universities that I already applied?
Before you decide to kill me because I did not know the type of my courses I must say that I am an international student from a country with a very different system, that is why I was hesistant in completing that section.
Updates to common app are only sent to schools you have not yet submitted your application to. If you want to make any changes after submitting the common app, you need to do so directly with each school you applied to.
@paveyourpath I am aware of that. I intend to e-mail or call them and talk about the changes, but first I need to know if this is possible and would love to talk to someone who has made it already.
Your question was “Now that I have updated it, is it possible to send it to the universities that I already applied?” My answer is it is not possible to send it to the universities that you already applied to through common app. You need to send the information directly to each school.
You say you are aware of that so I am not clear what you are asking then. Is it possible for you to send it to each school? Yes, call / email each school and ask how they would like you to send that information and where you should send it to. They will also receive your transcript so they may tell you they will wait for the transcript to arrive.
@paveyourpath You are correct, what I wrote on the post gives a different meaning of what I wanted, my bad. But yes I am aware of that hehehe and thanks for the answer, I was really worried that I would not be able to send them the information.
