Ooh! And in the few minutes since that last post, I discovered something else new, and this time it’s happy: The CC text editor now parses (a limited set of, it appears) colon codes for emoticons!
So the following happen if you type them, leaving out the spaces I’ve inserted:
: smile :
: smiley :
: wink :
: disappointed :
: rage :
: error : :error:
: sunglasses :
: neutral :
: blush :
: grimace : :grimace:
: cookie :
: naughty : :naughty:
: warning :
: sweatsmile :
: mrgreen :
: heart :
: heartbreak : :heartbreak:
(I only included a few of the possibilities.)
If you type a colon, an abbreviated list (the most common ones, maybe?) pops up that you can choose from, and narrows down as you type letters following the colon, and as you can see, there’s a rather wide range.
