My son applied to a few Cal State campuses (not Cal Poly SLO). The application had him list his classes for the rest of senior year. Now he wants to drop the 3rd trimester of Java. His reason is because the teacher is random in many things. Topics in the next unit appear on the test for the current unit. Several test questions getting revoked after the test is given because the questions weren’t right. There isn’t any other teacher for this class at my son’s high school. He will instead take Java at the community college.
None of this impacts his EI but I just want to cross every I and dot the t’s.
Do the Cal State school’s have applicants send in mid-year grade updates?
Any other way I can make them aware of this class change?
Only a few Cal states ask for Mid-year transcripts and this is usually after the student has been accepted to confirm they on track with their a-g courses and grades. His best course of action is to email admissions at each school and notify them of the schedule change.
