I was admitted into Arts and Sciences for Psychology (with plans to pair the major with an education/teaching program). After a lot of consideration, I realize that Ohio State is a good choice if I pursue another career option - business.
With a high enough SAT composite score, I qualify for direct admission into Fisher (FisherDirect community).
Anyone know of a way I can switch my admitted major? I want to visit Fisher when I tour the campus in February, and the only sessions that Fisher offers now are for students admitted into one of their programs.
I got an email saying Ohio State was having a special event in Dallas Jan. 11th. where we will meet the admissions staff and alumni. Maybe, if you live nearby you could go and ask them!

I also got accepted to A&S and wanted to change my major to one in a different college. I was really interested in computer science in Engineering, so I emailed the CS advisor at the Engineering college asking how/if I would be able to make the switch and she emailed me like a day later and gave me the email of a recruitment officer for Engineering. I emailed her and by the next day I received an email asking for my name and OSU ID and she said she would add me to the list of major changes and they would review me. I really appreciate how great they are with communication. Very fast, effective, and they are always willing to help with anything. I would suggest you search the site for a recruitment officer for Fisher or email any of the advisors there and they should be able to help you or direct you to the right person.

Call OSU undergrad to change major, I called and they updated the change in BuckeyeLink within 24 hours!

@Mydeskisamess I’m admitted and changed from Biology (arts & sciences) to Business - Finance. I plan to dual degree science with business but changed major to Business so I can get direct admit to Fisher.
@npscholar97 Thanks! I’m admitted with Biology in A&S but I’m trying to change to Computer Science in Engineering. I emailed them last almost a week ago… Still hasn’t changed. Maybe it’s a different process to get in there, but I’ll probably call like you did tomorrow.
