<p>She can apply ED using the common app, of course! If she fails to get into her 1st choice, then her same common app can be modified any which way, yes? I am particularly interested in knowing if the common essay can be completely replaced?</p>
<p>The reason I have to ask this is that I had heard that the common app essay may not be modified after it has been submitted ED. I don’t know where I heard this. I probably just misunderstood something.</p>

<p>Yes, she can definitely edit her responses after submitting to her ED school. Based on what the help sections say, there is a limit of three submitted versions of the essay and no limit on the number of versions for other parts of the common app.</p>
