<p>I'm a 1st year Chemical Biology major, and I was thinking of switching to the College of Engineering, and going for EECS. I checked the department's site, and if I petition for a college/major transfer, they won't decide until the end of my 2nd semester.</p>
<p>So I was wondering, what are my chances of getting in? What grades should I be aiming during my first 2 semesters here at Cal?</p>
<p>And what about the CS classes? I'm basically taking everything a first year EECS is taking, except instead of their CS class, I'm taking Chemistry. Should I take one of the CS classes spring semester, so I wouldn't be behind a year if I do manage to get in?</p>
