Changing Colleges Before Freshman Year

Hi everyone,

I’m posting to see if anyone has had a similar experience, or has knowledge for the course of action.
I will be a freshman in the fall and have already enrolled at a college for the upcoming semester. However I have had a change in heart and believe that another school nearby to which I have also been accepted is where I should be. As it is already late July is it too late for me to attend the other school this fall? In addition would it be possible for me to attend with the scholarship they originally offered me? What course of action would you recommend?

Be sure to phone the new school (school B) and ask for your candidacy to be reconsidered and reinstated PRIOR to withdrawing from the school you are currently enrolled in (school A) , unless there is no possible way that you could see yourself at school A, and you’re looking to take a Gap year.
