Changing Common App after submitting it

I just noticed a typo in my CA. I’ve submitted to a few schools already and plan to submit to a few more. Not a big deal, just a missed parentheses on the activities page. Can I go back and fix it without causing trouble or is not worth it?

It’s not the matter of “is not worth it”. Even if it’s worth it, it’s impossible to change the Common app once you submit it. You can get on and try to look for the “edit” button, and you won’t find it there. I’m pretty sure Common App mentioned this when you had to sign your name right before the submission. If it’s not a big deal, just forget about ir. If it is,you may want to contact the school directly.

@transferringbud??
I don’t mean change what I have already sent to schools. I mean change it for the next schools I send it to. The edit button can be clicked easily, but I know there’s some rule where you can only change the CA three times or something?

Yeah for sure! I’ve already done it for my activities page (typo too!) and main essay. They’ve made it super easy so we can change/edit the app as much as we want before we submit it to the next college!

@timidnotion‌ Okay, I guess I thought you meant changing Common App for the schools you already applied. And I guess I mistook supplements with Common App in that case. For Supplements, you won’t be able to find edit button. Sorry about that.
