Changing Common App from Early to Regular?

<p>Basically the title says it all, but if I apply to a Common App School early, can I change the information/essays that I submitted to my early school when I submit the Common App again for Jan.1 schools? </p>

<p>Basically it would be for editing and stuff, and depending on my early results I might want to put in a different essay. I spoke with my counselor who said, yes it was possible but others have told me that this is not the case and you actually sign something saying your common app is IDENTICAL for all schools you send it to. Which is correct??</p>

<p>On the Common App, do a help search for “Version”, and it will tell you how to do it. Your common app does not have to be identical for all schools.</p>

<p>You can create a modified version of your app to send to January schools. But you cannot send the new version to a school you sent the first version to. The commonapp help section tells you how to do it, it isn’t obvious from just looking at the common app. There’s a special link you need.</p>
