<p>I don’t think it should matter… aren’t they all able to be changed until July?</p>
<p>I believe madison is worried about not getting a room at all. In that case, I don’t think it would matter how you rank your preferences as I believe that they match students according to their place in line. For example, I don’t believe that putting Jester East as your first choice will give you any advantage over someone who applied earlier but put Jester East as their last choice.</p>
<p>I paid my deposit in late February. So changing my preference now will not affect my rank?</p>
