I have two essays for the Common app, lets call them essay A and essay B. I want to use essay A as my first common app essay because essay B works well as a supplement for the schools I'm applying to as EA. However, I feel essay B is an overall stronger essay and I want to submit that to the rest of my schools as the common app essay. I know you can submit 3 versions of a common app essay, but I was unsure if I could actually change prompts. Essay A is the place essay, whereas essay B is the essay about challenging a belief or idea. Can I have two completely different essays for the common app?

This is a rather late response, but I had my friend who had already submitted common app check if he could change his essay prompt and he could.
