I filled out the fafsa and ccs forms because the school counselor recommended it. Our efc came back very high because of our savings. The ccs says 2 of the colleges my daughter applied to want our tax returns sent in by March 1. I don't really see the point now that I know what our efc is. Should I contact the schools and tell them we don't want financial aid?

Are you prepared to pay full freight? If so, then tell them that you don’t need aid.

Or, call them, tell them what your EFC is and ask if there’s any point to submitting tax returns.
