Changing Freshmen Classes?

I didn’t get one of the classes I wanted during orientation. Am I able to add this course via the downloadable online software on Agora or do I have to wait until classes begin? Any input is appreciated!

You can adjust your schedule online after you have attended orientation

Use UIS to change your schedule anytime after orientation.
[Install BC UIS - Technology Help - Boston College](http://www.bc.edu/offices/help/essentials/software/uis-install.html)

Some of the classes may be full, so you’ll have to be vigilant in checking.

My d was a bc frosh last fall. She was in the last group of the last orientation session to register for classes. Initially she was only able to enroll in one of her ideal classes. Rather than freak out she attended double classes (both the classes she enrolled in and classes she really wanted). She emailed and made personal contact with professors. Within a week she was able to get all but one of her target classes. The one class she took that was not on her wish list fulfilled a core requirement. Keep positive and flexible and your schedule will work out. Don’t drop a class until you are sure that the professor has admitted you to the new class.

Awesome, finally got that coveted first year writing seminar :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks everyone!

Hint:

BC unblocks a few slots in Frosh courses on the Tuesday of each orientation. Log into UIS early am east coast time and beat the rush.
