Changing from Applied Math to Computer Science within Letters and Sciences?

I was just recently admitted into UC Berkeley for Applied mathematics, and I was wondering how easy it would be to switch from Applied math to computer science?

UCB L&S entering students enter as undeclared. Entering the L&S CS major requires a 3.30 GPA in the prerequisite courses.

@ucbalumnus so you’re saying it would be fairly easy to enter that major if I keep my grades up?

It used to be even easier; previously, the GPA threshold was 2.00, then 3.00. But the increasing popularity of the L&S CS major (< 100 per year several years ago, > 300 per year now) means that they need to do some capacity control (raising the GPA threshold to 3.00 then 3.30).

A 3.30 GPA in college is generally a lot harder to earn than a 3.30 GPA in high school.
