I have recently received a B+ (89.4) and I was wonder how i could get a teacher to change this grade after the report card came out.

I know this is at least possible because my AP teacher who teaches another class said if i got a 5 on the AP test, he will change my grade to an A. He said he will go back into the system to change my grade if i got the 5. So i know it is possible.

The problem is, how do i convince the other teacher to do so????

last year, my physics teacher made a mistake and forgot to average 3rd and 4th quarter grades and instead only counted 4th quarter as the whole semester. this gave me an 89% B+, but when the grades were averaged it would have been 93% A. I went in and talked to him because he was teaching summer school, and he said he would take a look at it. He didn’t after three days, so I went back. He still didn’t after another three days, so I went to him one last time and then followed up with the registrar. She asked him to check right away, and he was so lazy that he just said, “ohh, i believe you. you were a good student.” and changed the grade. sometimes, teachers are just lazy.

If I were you, I’d get right on it, especially if you’re a senior in the fall. Check that transcript very carefully for any other innaccuracies because this is what the Ad Comms will be seeing.
