changing interviewer

Is it possible?

I wanted my daughter to ask for a change last year, but she wouldn't. Her interviewer kept putting her off with a variety of reasons and many times he didn't return her phone call. It was obvious he didn't have the same urgency she did. She applied early to MIT and he put her off until the last possible minute. Then when she was confirming the final checklist, she was in tears when she saw the only thing missing was the interview. But the admissions office told her don't worry, it will show up eventually. It finally did and she was admitted early. What I am suggesting is it may get really anxious for you but it should all work out at the end. I should note that MIT made a change to her interviewer early on in the process, so it may very well be possible to ask for a change. GOOD LUCK!!

If you email interview@mit.edu, I'm sure they can be of help.

Will it look bad if I want to change becuase I heard that my-to-be-interviewer is a bad interviewer? (i know him a little, and I'd agree)
