<p>so from the other two "change of majors" threads, people say that you can change your major at orientation.</p>
<p>firstly, what is the process required to do this? secondly, does this work if you want to change your major from something in the college of letters and sciences into the school of engineering (HSSEAS)?</p>

<p>i don't think you can switch to engineering at orientation. engineering is their own school, it's not a part of letters and science. so i'm pretty sure you can transfer, it'll just take a lot of work.</p>
<p>You can only change majors within your school. A College L&S major cannot switch to Engineering.</p>
<p>yea you can, it just takes a lot of work because it requires you to say.. reapply to ucla under engineering haha.</p>
