so from the other two "change of majors" threads, people say that you can change your major at orientation.

firstly, what is the process required to do this? secondly, does this work if you want to change your major from something in the college of letters and sciences into the school of engineering (HSSEAS)?

"Students who were admitted to UCLA as junior transfers are generally NOT allowed to change majors within or into HSSEAS. Such requests will be considered (not necessarily approved) only if the student would have been admitted if he or she had applied directly to the desired HSSEAS major when the original application was submitted. "

i don't think you can switch to engineering at orientation. engineering is their own school, it's not a part of letters and science. so i'm pretty sure you can transfer, it'll just take a lot of work.
