Is it possible to get accepted into Upenn CAS as a Biology Major, and then switching over to Wharton as a business major?
Thanks

I've heard its possible but difficult because some people apply to CAS, thinking they have a better chance of getting in, with the full intention of switching into Warton once they're in, since Warton is known to be more difficult to be accepted to.

ive heard its near impossible (but i could be thinking of internal transfer)

Yes, it's possible. But if you want business from the getgo, apply to Wharton from the getgo. Doing CAS for a year and transferring into Wharton is no picnic. You need a 3.8+ GPA and then you have to play some catch-up in terms of completing some Wharton classes like MGMT 100 or OPIM 101 that all the other Wharton students took freshman year. Don't apply to CAS if you actually want Wharton, and don't apply to Wharton unless you actually want CAS.
