<p>I am thinking about switching majors into Applied Math. However, I just submitted my economics app this semester and will wait until the end of semester to know if I got in. Assuming I get in, can I change my major to math? And if so, how long can I wait till I have to change it, in the case that I realize math isn't for me?</p>
<p>Math is not a capped major, so you just need to complete the lower division courses with a C or higher average in 1A and 1B (AP credit accepted), and C or higher grades in each of 53, 54, and 55 in order to declare the major:
