Changing major? Application help

Hi guys, about to apply to Penn State UP. It asks me for my intended major, and considering I have many different interests, I'm not sure what to apply under. I'm interested in SOME business, mostly finance/accounting. Also, I'm interested in the liberal arts, history, anthropology, and that. Also intrigued by education. I don't have a favorite honestly, so should I apply as undecided in a certain college, or pick one of those that might be easier to get into (anthropology or history)? Any advice would be great.

You are a classic admit for Division of Undergraduate Studies. DUS is the fancy title for “undecided” and they will be more than happy to help you figure out what you want to major in before everyone declares officially their sophomore year. DUS is also the easiest school to get into, particularly if you are willing to start in summer rather than fall.

Keep in mind college isn’t magic. It’s a lot of money – a LOT – to spend if you truly don’t have any idea what you want to do with your life as far as a career.

I agree. Apply DUS. Certain majors have much higher admission requirements than DUS, and if you don’t know what you want to do, there is no reason to go through those hoops unnecessarily.

DUS will help you out, do this

I got into eberly college of science. Do you think it would be possible to transfer to the smeal college of business? I’m a mathematics major

@nicole0612 You can ask at your orientation when you meet with your advisor. They can change it if you meet the requirements to change.
