Changing major as a freshman

Hello!
I knew I wanted to go to Davis when I was first applying for colleges, but I was unsure of what specific major I wanted to go for, so I selected Undeclared- Humanities when I applied. Now that I’ve graduated high school and gone through an AP Computer Science class, I am extremely interested in CS but I am still enlisted in the College of Letters and Sciences. I’ve looked for a way to change this before school begins but can’t find a way. Is it difficult to change colleges/majors? Is this something I can do during orientation? Is there an easy and fast way that I can do it now?

You can ask during orientation and start taking the course requirements needed to change majors:

Here is also a link to some new CS curriculum changes: http://www.cs.ucdavis.edu/blog/new-undergraduate-curriculum-changes/

You cannot change prior to orientation.
