Changing Major to Applied Mathematics

Hey guys im changing my major from econ to applied math and i have a lot of concerns that factor in that im hoping you guys can help me out with.

first of all do you guys know how similar or different the courses are between the two majors and what i might have to take as an applied math major and how far behind i may be? i took econ 1a/b and all the basic english courses and several GEs

i also want to minor in accounting but i realize theres no accounting minor at davis but there are a few courses and the rest i can take off campus, but does that mean i still cant declare as an accounting minor? do you think this is a good idea or are there better minors? also does it matter which one i minor and which one i major in?

im going to be a sophomore next quarter and i just started finding info about all these honors courses and opportunities davis has, is it too late for me to take part in these cause i know that DHC is for freshman only, plus right now my gpa is under the water… deep deep under the water, so are there still opportunities for me to join honors programs and salvage my academics?

sorry i told you there were several factors haha… but lastly im really thinking about transferring to another uc or private next year like east coast or hopefully ucsd or ucla. how does that factor into my change of major and my situation overall?
