Changing majors after acceptance?

<p>I am a Bus-Econ major, but I realized during this summer that I do not want to be doing this for the rest of my career. I was accepted to UCR and was accepted under that major and I was just wondering if there's a way to change my major to English...if it's even possible.</p>

<p>any feedback/help would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>yea of course you'll be able to do that you just need to go check with your academic advisor once the session starts and they'll tell you what you need to do -- you may have to wait a semester or two from what i understand though</p>
