<p>I am a Bus-Econ major, but I realized during this summer that I do not want to be doing this for the rest of my career. I was accepted to UCR and was accepted under that major and I was just wondering if there's a way to change my major to English...if it's even possible.</p>

<p>Call the admissions officer who handled your transfer process and make an appointment to discuss changing your major. If these two majors are in different colleges within the university you may have to arrange an internal transfer from one college to another. You aren't the first person who has gone through this. Someone at your university will know how to do it.</p>
<p>This happens ALL THE TIME. It shouldn't be too hard. Just ask the school :)</p>
