Changing majors at Cal

If I win the lottery and am accepted to Cal, how hard will it be to change my major. I signed up for a major in the College of Natural Resources and I would like to change it to undeclared or biology.

Well, there are many colleges at Berkeley, and it is very hard to change colleges, but very easy to change majors. If you want to change your major to Biology, you have to transfer to the College of letters and sciences AND switch majors to Biology.

So in your situation, no.

do you know what it's like to change from the college of chemistry to the college of engineering?

this was posted earlier....

"Myth #3:
If I change my mind about what I want to study after I apply to the College of Chemistry, I can switch to another major offered by a different college.

FACT:
You will be required to spend at least one semester in the College of Chemistry, and during that semester you must follow the course program for your major. (You may be able to switch thereafter, if you meet the requirements of the other college.)"

hope that answers your question

Well, are the requirements difficult?
