i am a high school senior and have been admitted to uc davis. the thing is...i didn't have a lot of hope for davis, so as a joke i picked food science as my alternate major. now that i have only been accepted to ucr, ucsc, ucm, and davis, i have to go to davis. I was wondering, is it really hard to change majors? I was considering of changing to managerial economics. And if I want to change, when do i change? Do i call them now? Where do I call? Please help, I'm freaked out, now that Irvine and SB rejected me. I deserved SB. 1260 SAT...3.3 Weighted...my friend got in with 1210 SAT...2.9 WEIGHTED GPA...that's so messed up...

It's not hard to change your major once you get there, LOTS of students change their major, don't worry about it. Read http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/UCDWebCatalog/academicinfo/major.html for more info, basically as long as you maintain a 2.80 or better GPA you can change. I would change it once I got there but there's no harm in calling them. If you want to call for more info goto http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/html/office_hours.html
For even more info goto http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/UCDWebCatalog/programs/mecon/meconprog.html
It looks like you have to complete some courses before you can change into Managerial Economics and you need a 2.80 GPA or better

Don't worry :)

Just compleate the entrance requirements with atlest a 2.8 and you can change to man econ.
