I was accepted into SMU putting my major as biology. But since then, I have changed my mind and decided to pursue a BBA. Does anyone know the process of this? I will be sure to talk with my counselors, but I was just curious as to if anyone can shed some light.

I know that most students enter Cox Business School their second year after taking several courses and maintaining a certain GPA (3.3?)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

There’s really not much to it at all. When you go to AARO this summer just tell them what you actually want to major in, and they’ll schedule classes accordingly for you

My daughter changed her mind while at Destination SMU. She talked to her admissions councelor and told him she want to make the switch. A few weeks later she received a letter saying that she was in Cox School of Business, an invite into BBA scholars and a nice scholarship. Good luck with your decision.

That’s great to hear! I am actually attending destination SMU this upcoming weekend. I will definitely Truro visit my counselor and tell her my decision.

Thanks for all the help
