Changing majors constantly!

So I was a Business major in 2005. I was taking all my GE classes and the required core classes (like ECON, ACCT, STATS, Business Math and etc.) to transfer to a University as a Business major. I was going to school off and on because I was confused in what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to go to fashion school in San Fran. and also wanted to become a makeup artist but my parents didn't approve. They felt that getting a BA degree was better so I just stuck with that and forward to 2010 I finally transferred to a University. When I transferred, I changed my major to Family and Consumer Sciences because I was interested in it and wanted to learn about family issues and development as I was going through some of that myself lol. I also felt that since I have taken classes that counted as part of the required units and classes for this major I would be finished with school within 1.5 years. As to Business I would be finished within max 3 years. So that was another part of the reason why I changed majors.

Then this semester I had a change of heart. I felt that me changing majors was a phase and I should have stuck it out with Business. So I decided to do it and went back to Business. But now I would be in school a little longer and not sure if I made the right decision. I know that majoring in Business has more options in jobs. But then again I keep hearing that it doesnt matter what you major in, just as long as you have a college degree? And that makes me think I should go back to Family and Consumer Studies cause then I would be done with school sooner. What do you guys think? any advice?

Just stick with business. I’m sure it’s a far more useful degree than Family and Consumer Studies.
