Changing Majors during junior year

So I might be accepted as a transfer student next year as a Poli Sci major.

HOWEVER, I have recently started thinking about changing my major to Computer Science, and am taking a couple math classes and programming classes to see if I like it. If I do end up getting accepted to UCLA, and also end up liking the CS classes, would I be able to change my major to that once I arrive at UCLA? Or do they not allow that

<a href="http://www.seasoasa.ucla.edu/adm_ugrad.html#Admission%20as%20a%20Junior%20Transfer%5B/url%5D">http://www.seasoasa.ucla.edu/adm_ugrad.html#Admission%20as%20a%20Junior%20Transfer</a></p>

so it looks like if I didnt apply directly to that department I cant get in?

i think pretty much...as a transfer, i think you're very limited when it comes to switching majors...

COmp Sci is in the engineering school so you have to get directily into that major otherwise you can do math-computation or linguistics/comp sci...

You can change majors... there is just some impacted majors they do not allow you to change to.

ok cool, thanks.

so does anyone know anything about those two majors(math-computation and linguistics/comp sci)? Would that help me have pretty much the same career prospects as a CS degree would?
