<p>I got into CIT for Mechanical Engineering. I was wondering if it would be difficult (impossible) to transfer to the Computer and Electrical Engineering. Any idea on how this works?</p>

<p>you apply in the spring of your freshman year, and it is completely dependent on your first semester grades and second semester grades. Also try to do well in the intro ece course, 18-100.</p>
<p>People discourage students from transferring too much but it isn't as hard as everyone says it is. Keep up a decent GPA and you will get in (it depends on space more than GPA or anything else like that).</p>
