CHANGING MAJORS IN UC's

Ive been admitted to UCSD, UCD, as a statistics major (incoming freshman.) However, I'm thinking about changing my major to Biology, is that possible and how hard is it to change majors

You need to say at each college if biology is an impacted major?? If it is impacted then iwill be hard to change or you might have to take and pass. Also certain grades test scores and course requirements are needed for some majors. Like for an engineering major in some colleges you need to take physics and precalc at least in high school or have a certain math SAT or ACT score. If bio is NOT impacted though then i think you can change your major through the UCD/UCSD portal or at orientation

Biology is impacted at UCSD:
[Impacted Majors](Capped Majors)

Be aware that biology tends to have worse job and career prospects than statistics.
