I am a business major at a community college applying to four years this coming fall. I was wondering once I've been accepted, if I could change my business major to an engineering major and minor in business?

You need to ask each of the universities that you are applying to. In most cases, what your AA is in doesn’t matter because you apply for admission to the specific program that you want to join. If you have the pre-requisites for admission to the engineering program, that is the one you would apply to.

It depends on the policies of the school you transfer to whether you can change major. Note that engineering majors are often impacted, so changing into them after transferring in as a junior may be difficult or impossible.

Also, engineering majors require much more extensive and rigorous math and science prerequisites than you likely have taken for a business major.

Depends on the schools. In many cases, no because engineering is impacted (and some schools will specifically say you can’t change majors to engineering if you attend their school). It’s a safer bet just to stay in CC and get your engineering prereqs and apply as an engineer.

Thanks for the insight everyone!
