Hello everyone, I'm currently a freshman at UCLA, and I've decided to switch majors over to computer science within the school of engineering.

However, I have one current conflict which regards the following rule that I have read in the requirements.

"-applicants must show that they have taken a combination of at least two (2) engineering/science/math courses per term, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 units per term."
SOURCE: Change of Major — UCLA Engineering Office of Academic and Student Affairs

I am currently at a dilemma, because I am currently enrolled in Math 32A and two GEs, and I am unsure of whether or not I have jeopardized my chances of changing my major, since I do not have two engineering/science/math courses for this single term.

So I have two main questions
1) Did I jeopardize my chances, and will an exception be made considering that I am currently ahead in math (and will be willing to take two science classes and a math class during the winter quarter)?
2) What possible path do I have left to take in order to switch my major?

NOTE: I have e-mailed the CS counselors, but they are too busy to reply with a clear answer, and I have enrolled in the change of majors workshop on the 23rd, but that is weeks away.
