difficult as in, does it take a long time (the process of switching) and what kind of affect does it have on $$?

For your example, to switch into Marshall, all you would have to do is complete 2 of the 4required pre-requisite courses (ECON 203, ECON 205, MATH 118, MATH 218) with a gpa of 3.0 or better and fill out an application. I don't believe that the wait time is very long. I am not sure how it wouldbe to switch into Viterbi or anoher school at USC.

I'm trying to switch from Viterbi to Marshall, and for me they said they might just be able to go to my stars report and change my major because I'm already a Comp Sci/Business dual major, so I'm assuming its not that hard if they can pretty much do things like that. In general, there is a form online that you fill out and it asks you to write up like a one page resume, but that is about it. Its also rolling admissions so you can find out in like 10-14 days (i think thats what the website says).

ohh, thanks!!
yeah, b/c one of my friends said you end up wasting money, so... yeah.

thanks again!

Maybe your friend took classes which are not required for Marshall or had too many elective credits for Marshall.
