Changing majors to engineering?

<p>I don't see why not... it's not as though the College of L&S actively investigates the petitions you file with the SEAS, and vice versa. To me, Physics majors are practically engineers anyways.</p>

<p>Ok, that's good to know...have any physics majors from UCLA pursued engineering at the grad school level?</p>

<p>And btw, flopsy...you know how you said you need a 3.5 for the more impacted majors and a 3.0 for the less impacted one...are those gpa's just the minimum you need to be considered for the change of major or are they the gpa's that will most often guarantee you a change of major?</p>

<p>Those GPAs are the minimums.</p>

<p>also for impacted u need to finish 2 years worth of requirements to change. for non impact engineering its 1 years worth. some flexiblity can be allowed if ur GPA is really high.</p>
