Hey, so I was accepted to materials science at UCLA, but I'm thinking I might want to switch over to EE. I read on the HSSEAS website about switching majors within engineering and it said this: "Applicants must show that they have taken at least (2) engineering/science/math courses per term, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 units per term." Basically... um... this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Could someone in engineering describe what courses/procedures I need to take in order to switch over to EE? Also, are chances of switching to EE from another engineering favorable?
