Changing Majors?

Hi, I got into UCSD for Undeclared and was placed into Sixth College. I'm not very artsy.. and I really want to do biological sciences. How hard would it be to switch into biological sciences? (Chances?) I'm also waitlisted for UCI and if I got into UCI for biological sciences, would it be better for me to do that?

I feel like I'd be more comfortable going to UCI for biological sciences rather than possibly not getting my major at UCSD (plus Sixth Colleges was one of my last choices..). And there's no other major I would want to do. I plan on going into the medical field. Please help, thanks guys!

Your situation is identical to mine… I guess if we can’t get into bio the next best thing is chem and that’s not as impacted.

Yea I was thinking that too but I heard chem is a lot harder to do well in… So it’d be hard to get a good GPA and get into a good medical school :/

unless your source double-majored in both bio and chem, i’d disregard his/her opinion as mere opinion. also, you can declare ANY major and go to med school as long as you satisfy their (minimal) academic prerequisites.
