<p>This is my first quarter at UCI. I transferred as a Film and Media major, but I want to change to History. Can a transfer student change majors after the first quarter?</p>
<p>You can change your major into history if you’ve completed:</p>
<p>– At least two required courses in the chosen major (History), with grades of “C+” or better in each course.
– Students with 90 units or more must have completed the lower-division writing general education requirement.</p>
<p>And then you have at to have a minimum 2.0 overall, School of Humanities, and major GPA.</p>
