<p>No you are not, you can ask for a change of major at the NSC, and if there’s space available, they will change you. But I think Mays is full. You can try to transfer, just do the pre-req and get good grades.</p>
<p>just came from NSc for dd who will be a freshmen in Mays tho fall. They said last year was a big class of freshmen and referred to this years freshmen as a big big group. So I don’t think the chances are good for this year. That’s not to say that you couldn’t in a year.</p>
<p>Emmamae, I am in the exact same position as you. I’m in liberal arts (economics) and wanting to transfer into Mays as well. I was told after the first semester you must transfer into general studies and take some required classes scoring at least a 3.0 in all of them. Then you can apply for Mays and hope they accept you. It’s kind of a long process but they said it can be done :/</p>
