My year’s almost done as a freshman at UIUC and I’m currently a math major, but I’ve been finding Calc 1 and 2 pretty difificult, and I’m not sure if I want to keep pursuing math since it seems like it only gets harder for the higher math classes. I was wondering what majors are helpful for finding a job after graduation besides STEM majors? I don’t think I’ll be able to handle the higher science/math classes. Could anyone fill me in on how good other majors are? I was looking into fine arts, advertising, or something like food science/human nutrition or kinesiology? Any feedback would be appreciated. I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do, but I would prefer it be something that has some sort of job prospective.
