Changing majors

I change my major once already and now I’m taking of changing it again. My ultimate goal is med school. I’m just wondering, how would a major change from a science to non science look like to them. Don’t get me wrong, I still find medicine and science fascinating and I really feel passionate as well as excited when I learn new things from it. I just worry that my chances could be low and although I’m interested in research, I don’t think I only want to do just that and I also don’t want to become a teacher.

Med schools don’t give a hoot what your major is. They’ll teach you everything you need to know in med school. They will care about your science GPA as well as your overall GPA, but the usual advise with major is both, “Choose what you like because you’re more likely to do better in it,” and “Be sure you have a Plan B because only roughly 40% who apply make it in to med school.”

I knew a surgeon who got into medical school with a degree in English Literature. Major changes are to be expected with every college student. I’m sure applicants with Biology and Chemistry majors get stale after a while, and it’s good to see someone with versatility. Wear your major as a badge of honor

That’s kind of what I think. I don’t want to spend just doing science but unfortunately I don’t have time.
