i applied to UT back in..december..and i got in under natural sciences. I'm top 2% of a REALLY competitive HS and i kind of wish i applied to business. too late to change?

haha, that's like my exact story :) I wanna go to McCombs now that I got in for prepharmacy. Someone told me to do the general courses then try and transfer into the school.

Are you guys doing it because McCombs is really prestigious?

No, I'm just sick of science. I always got good marks in it, but it was always so boring to me so I don't think that pharmacy would make me happy. I found out in my year off that I'm interested in Politics and Business, so that's what I'd like to pursue.

Yeah you should always go for what you want. Sadly for me though, I have no clue. Currently I'm undeclared for Natural Sciences. That can't look too good can it?

haha well i applied and thought i wanted to be a bio major..and now after taking AP bio and organic chem at school i dont know if i wanna be in natural sciences anymore. so any way to change now?

Not really, but it doesn't really matter your first semeter I don't think. Take general basic courses and change after the first semester if you can.

i think that if you took a lot of ap classes and you don't have to take most of your basics, then you might go ahead contact ut about changing your major, but if you know that you are going to have to take a semester or two of basics, then just go into natural science and see if it fits you.
