Changing majors..?

nope i didnt either.

peetrav… let me know if you find out

i was going to say the same to you…
i just want to know so i can register for the early action welcome day.

they just accepted my major change today. i got an email.

same, got switched into mechanical engineering!

haha, me too! business to pharmacy :)

Do you know if we keep the same scholarship amount? I just want to make sure since the email didn’t specify.

yeah, i emailed them to make sure scholarship/grant money would not be lost. so youre good.

So you don’t think changing from biochemistry to behav. neuroscience would be too difficult since they are in the same school? would it be better to try to change now?

I’d try to change it as soon as you can.

Change it now, because you’ll get put into the wrong “intro to college” class. It’s not a big deal (like you only have to take one of them, so if you switch later, it won’t kill you) but you’ll miss out of meeting profs and advisors.

I’m curious about the same thing. I am going to apply undeclared, and I’m still looking into the possibilities of nursing. Would it be hard to get into the nursing program if I was hypothetically accepted as undeclared?

I think Nursing is one of, if not the hardest to transfer into and sometimes they don’t accept any transfers. If there’s a decent chance it’s what you want to do, I’d recommend declaring it now.

I was admitted for communications, but I also had a sudden change of heart. When they give you the my NEU site with your Huskies gmail address and what not, there is a section for “request major change”. You have to list a little description. I asked to be admitted to Marketing in the Business Administration school and a few days later they replied and say that I was admitted. The scholarship I received was not revoked either.
